2010 Slots Cup Series details announced
ROMP (Racetracks Of Ontario Marketing & Promotions) has released the 2010 schedule for the Slots Cup Series, which boasts two additional legs over last year’s offering.
The series spans April through September and includes six legs at Western Fair Raceway, Hanover Raceway, Clinton Raceway, Flamboro Downs, Grand River Raceway and Georgian Downs.
The top money-earners from the qualifying legs advance to the $100,000 final at Hiawatha Horse Park on September 11, 2010.
Each leg of the series is supported by a promotional campaign, the Slots Cup Of Cash, an effort partnered by participating tracks and the OLG Slots.
2010 SLOTS CUP SERIES
• Ontario-sired pacers 4 years & younger n/w 75,000 lifetime as of Jan. 15/2010
• Nominations close February 15, 2010
• $400 nomination fee (all nomination fees added to final)
• Qualifying Legs $12,000/division; Final $75,000 added ($100,000 guaranteed)
• Top 9 money-winners declared will advance to the final, plus 2 also-eligibles
• Final to be held at Hiawatha Horse Park on September 11/2010
• Declarations to start in legs and final must be made to race offices at respective host tracks

Leg 1: April 16 – Western Fair Raceway – $12,000/division
Leg 2: May 2 – Clinton Raceway – $12,000/division
Leg 3: May 29 – Hanover Raceway – $12,000/division
Leg 4: July 3 – Flamboro Downs – $12,000/division
Leg 5: July 23 – Grand River Raceway – $12,000/division
Leg 6: August 14 – Georgian Downs – $12,000/division
FINAL: September 11 – Hiawatha Horse Park – $75,000 added ($100,000 guaranteed)
