2012 Slots Cup Series
A lower entry fee and new conditions highlight the fifth annual Slots Cup Series, hosted by ROMP (Racetracks Of Ontario Marketing & Promotions).
The series spans May through September and includes six legs contested at The Raceway at Western Fair District, Hanover Raceway, Clinton Raceway, Flamboro Downs, Grand River Raceway and Georgian Downs.
The top money-earners from the qualifying legs advance to the $100,000 final at Hiawatha Horse Park in September of 2012.
Each leg of the series is supported by a promotional campaign, in partnership with the OLG Slots At Racetracks.
NEW CONDITIONS IN 2012:
Ontario-sired 3 & 4 year-old pacers that are n/w $50,000 lifetime as of Jan. 15/2012
LOWER ENTRY FEE IN 2012:
One-time entry fee of $200 per horse, postmarked no later than Feb. 15/12

• Nominations close February 15, 2012
• $200 nomination fee (all nomination fees added to final)
• Qualifying Legs $15,000/division; Final $75,000 added ($100,000 guaranteed)
• Top 9 money-winners declared will advance to the final, plus 2 also-eligibles
• Final to be held at Hiawatha Horse Park on September 8, 2012
• Declarations to start in legs and final must be made to race offices at respective host tracks

Leg 2: June 17 at Clinton Raceway
Leg 3: June 26 at Georgian Downs
Leg 4: July 7 at Hanover Raceway
Leg 5: Aug 10 at Grand River Raceway
Leg 6: Aug 17 at Flamboro Downs
FINAL: September 8 at Hiawatha Horse Park ($100,000 g.)
